Temecula is Southern California’s premier wine growing and tasting region. Consistently winning awards for the locally crafted boutique-style wines, the state of California has taken note by recognizing this Riverside County destination’s products in state competitions.

Tourists don’t just love the Temecula wine tasting, but they like all the things things that surround it such as jazz concerts at the wineries, BBQ contests, and the exciting and messy annual Grape Stomp, a must see. When you visit, be sure to shop in the historic Old Town region and tour the history museum which contains great rotating exhibits and information about the city and its past.

Hot air balloon rides provide an excellent (and sometimes romantic) opportunity to glide gracefully over the wineries and take in the views of the fields below. With a champagne toast, there’s no better way to start a vacation than this experience offered by several company such as the Grape Escape.
