    TRAVEL AND TOURISM MARKETING ASSOCIATION

    PRESENTS “PEOPLE MOVING 101 & L. A. FARMERS MARKET RE-VISITED”

    Thursday, May 15, 2008

PANELISTS: Vahid sapir and kami farhadi, Starline Tours, Tony hoover, RedLine Tours Marcelle Epley, Long Beach Transit

Over the last fifty years ground transportation management (GTM) has slowly evolved into a major function at most larger airports and cities. TTMA’s “people moving panel” will address some of the ways they help move our visitors so they are not bumping into too many of our residents and those who work near tourism venues.

Join us at the world famous Original Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax , an icon of Los Angeles since 1934, for this invigorating presentation… and bring your walking shoes!

TTMA Luncheon attendees will be treated to a true Farmers Market dining experience. The menu? Whatever whets your appetite. Members and guests will be given a Farmers Market gift certificate that they can use to purchase lunch at one of the dozens of restaurants in the Market representing tantalizing cuisine from around the world, as well as American favorites. Visit farmersmarketla.com if you are interested in viewing some of the restaurant choices online prior to the luncheon and for a map and directions from where you will be coming.

Check-in and registration will be on the Farmers Market Plaza next to the famous Market Clock Tower. We will be dining as a group on the Farmers Market Upper Dining Deck, where our luncheon program will be held. Water, Soda, Coffee and Dessert will be provided when you arrive at our private dining area.

Full day parking validation is yours for the Farmers Market surface parking lots or the adjacent Grove Parking Structure at the end of Farmers Market Place. Bring your ticket to the luncheon.
